The University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB) was founded in 1952. Over half a century of remarkable growth, the USTB has developed into a comprehensive, multidisciplinary university contributed to and witnessed the development of the country. The Donlinks School of Economics and Management (DSEM) started in 1954 as the Department of Organization and Planning of Metallurgical Enterprises Organization within the Faculty of Metallurgy. Now it is one of the 13 schools of the USTB. Correspondence with the university's advantage in metallurgy and its related upstream and downstream manufacturing industry, the DSEM has built up strong connection with this sector and formed its distinctive industry-focused characteristic. The DSEM build up its reputation based on its concrete and pragmatic education practices. Thanks to the USTB's great strengths in science and engineering, the DSEM is able to attract high quality faculty members who are strong in research and are capable of solving practical problems. They helped shaped our students' solid foundations of analytical and critical thinking skills.
