The University of Southern Mississippi (USM) was founded in 1910 and has campuses in Hattiesburg and in Long Beach. Founded in 1947 as a Division of Commerce, the College of Business is now known for the quality of its programs, connections with the business community, and success in economic development projects for the Gulf South region. With 2,000 undergraduate students and 300 graduate students, Southern Miss business programs are offered in person, online and in hybrid delivery formats.
