The Martin Tuchman School of Management at New Jersey Institute of Technology educates and prepares graduates for life-long success as management professionals, corporate leaders and academic scholars in the dynamic, technology-driven world of global business. Embedded within New Jersey’s technological university, the Tuchman School integrates fundamental business principles with technical knowledge and critical-thinking skills and leverages strengths across the university from engineering and computing to architecture and social science. In this interdisciplinary business-technology environment, the School delivers high-quality educational programs and experiential learning opportunities for our students, pursues scholarly academic research, and engages in innovation and entrepreneurship activities to serve the community and strengthen economic development. In Fall 2016, the Tuchman School launched a new Ph.D. Program in Business Data Science, two new instructional and research laboratories, a new STEM-MBA program, stronger corporate partnerships, new scholarships and fellowships, and an expanded focus on funded, collaborative research to transform business and management education at NJIT. With its new partnership with IBM, the Tuchman School is the first business school in North America to deliver IBM’s most advanced data analytics and cognitive business tools in the classroom and hands-on laboratories with micro-credentialing opportunities for students to earn IBM digital badges and certification.
