MBS offers a culturally rich, globally oriented, intimate business school experience for students. With two intakes each year of 60-80 program participants, representing all continents and a wide range of industries and academic backgrounds, MBS offers a high level of diversity and engagement within its student body that few other business schools can match. Our class sizes facilitate stimulating interaction among students, and between students and faculty. This results in the establishment of strong relationships and networks within the MBS community, and allows for personalised one-on-one support from faculty, administrative staff, and career services so that students are able to achieve their professional and personal development goals. Students go on the required Business in Asia study trip, which takes place in China. They may also extend their international experience by choosing to study on exchange at one of over 20 world-class business schools across the globe that MBS partners with. This exchange opportunity takes place in the second half of the MBA program, which also contains an optional 4-6 week internship and elective subjects. MBS is part-owned by the business community and part-owned by the University of Melbourne. This advantageous relationship ensures strong, continued support from industry as well as from one of the world’s leading universities. MBS is located in Melbourne, voted the most livable city in the world by The Economist. Known as Australia’s cultural and sporting capital, Melbourne boasts an enviable calendar of festival, sporting and cultural activities, such as the Australian Open Tennis Championships, Australian Grand Prix, Melbourne International Film Festival, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and Melbourne Spring Fashion Week.
