The Eastern Michigan University College of Business is one of over 800 universities accredited by AACSB International. Our undergraduate programs initially became accredited in 1974 and our graduate programs in 1982 and continue to be accredited. Our mission is to support the economic development of southeastern Michigan by preparing graduates to perform effectively in the global business community. We develop outstanding business professionals through a rigorous, applied educational experience. The College of Business offers 11 undergraduate degree majors, 1 undergraduate certificate, 3 combined undergraduate/MS Degree programs, 6 graduate degrees including MBA with 14 unique specializations, 13 graduate certificates and 2 additional interdisciplinary certificates with other colleges. In the Fall of 2019, the college will also begin our new Masters in Finance degree program. The College of Business is ranked among the nation’s best for 14 consecutive years in the Princeton Review’s listing of top business schools and our BBA-Management, HR Concentration ranked first in HR.com for Diploma Program with Emphasis on HR. We have the only fully online Integrated Marketing Communication degree program housed in and AACSB accredited business school and are one of only eight universities offering the Microsoft Dynamics Student Certificate program. All of our full-time tenure-track faculty hold terminal degrees and we have small class sizes that support a collegiate environment in which faculty and student interact with one another to discuss, research and explore issues related to business, ethics and professionalism. All of our classrooms are equipped with the latest technology and we have over 17,000 alumni many of who present and mentor to our students.
