Washington and Lee University, Williams School of Commerce, Economics, and Politics

In the Williams School, we educate students in the liberal arts tradition, preparing them to lead and to serve society and their professions with competence, vision, and integrity. Through our teaching and scholarship, we create and share knowledge about the role of commerce, economics, and politics in a diverse and global society. The Williams School emphasizes the integration of disciplines, small class sizes, moral reasoning, written and oral communication, and analytical thinking throughout its curriculum. Further, faculty and staff seek to balance innovative classroom practices with co-curricular learning opportunities related to the subjects that we explore.
