The College of Business and Tech at the University of Nebraska at Kearney is a special place where students can fit in, stand out, and get ahead. We have a wide variety of programs in the college that will lead to fulfilling careers in many different professions. We work hard every day to make sure that each of our programs meets the standards of excellence required by leading national and international professional accrediting organizations. This means that students are assured of a high-quality educational experience that will help them reach their goals. Students can expect to learn in and out of the classroom. Our faculty is dedicated to providing rich experiential learning opportunities. This hands-on learning may include working as a consultant on real-world projects for actual businesses, which will lead to the creation of a portfolio of tangible accomplishments. Students can also work with faculty on original research and present their results at national conferences. Students also have the opportunity to participate in the wide selection of study abroad experiences we offer. Finally, we encourage all of our students to earn credit and develop valuable experience through internships, which often serve as the gateway to their first career.
