The Faculty of Business and Economics was established in 2001 through the amalgamation of two schools -- the School of Business and the School of Economics and Finance. Forming an alliance of excellence, the Faculty of Business and Economics takes an entrepreneurial approach to meeting the challenges of a rapidly changing economic and business environment by drawing together the strengths of the two schools. Our full range of programmes, which taught in English by faculty from top-notch universities to extraordinary students from around the world, put together the strengths of global excellence with regional relevance and a focus on China. Our undergraduate programmes equip students with diverse knowledge in different areas of business and economics, and prepare them to be the visionary and creative leaders of tomorrow. Our world-renowned MBA, MBA (International) in partnership with Fudan University in Shanghai, EMBA-Global Asia, and other specialised master’s programmes in economics, finance and business analytics provide requisite skills as well as a broad disciplinary reach to students pursuing regional and global careers. In addition to research postgraduate programmes leading to the degree of MPhil and PhD, our new DBA programme in partnership with Peking University is designed to nurture business leaders with excellent research expertise and strategic global vision.
